What's New

What's new??!!  As we all know things change about 2 days after we get  the fliers back from the printers. I'll make this the official place to  find those changes. And guess what, there are changes in the state requirements concerning pigs. Due the recent positive test results for pseodorabies in several of the states hunting preserves, the state Vet has passed an emergency injunctoin that will require all swine comming to our sale be tested for pseudorabies and brucellous. This is for all IN AND OUT of state hogs. The test results must be on a health paper with the corresponding state issued ear tag. The state will  NOT be present to test any in state hogs for any further sales. No in or out of state hogs/pigs/swine will be allowed to unload without these tests and health papers. For any questions please call me at 931-761-2246. This went in to effect in Sept. of 09.These are the only type of swine the preserves can buy, even though its a pain it has stabilized the market. Thanks for your cooperation   Jammi    1-15-10
